Prof. Kim Delivers an Invited Talk at Schrödinger’s Frontiers in Digital Chemistry Industry Summit

Prof. Hyung Suk Kim was invited to deliver a presentation at the Frontiers in Digital Chemistry: Industry Summit, hosted by Schrödinger Korea.
The summit convened leading scientists, technology executives, and R&D decision-makers from a wide range of materials science sectors, including machine learning, polymers, catalysts, batteries, OLEDs, and advanced functional materials. The event focused on how the convergence of artificial intelligence, physics-based modeling, and integrated computational workflows is transforming materials discovery and accelerating industrial innovation.
During his invited talk, Prof. Kim presented his recent research on computationally guided OLED materials and device development, highlighting how molecular modeling, photophysics, and device physics can be integrated to establish rational design strategies for high-performance organic optoelectronic materials.
His presentation emphasized the importance of connecting digital chemistry with experimentally validated structure–property relationships, offering perspectives on how computational methodologies can contribute to the accelerated discovery and optimization of next-generation OLED emitters.
Following the presentation, Prof. Kim received a plaque of appreciation from Dr. Mathew D. Halls, Senior Vice President of Materials Science at Schrödinger, in recognition of his contribution as an invited speaker.
